After breakfast, we set off towards the Sahara, crossing the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains (2,260m) with panoramic stops along the way. We visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed Berber fortress featured in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After lunch (not included), we continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing picturesque Berber villages. Arriving at the stunning Dades Valley, we settle in for dinner and an overnight stay in a charming hotel.
After breakfast, we head towards the breathtaking Todra Gorges, towering at over 300 meters, making it one of Morocco’s most impressive natural wonders. After exploring the canyon, we continue our journey towards the vast Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, we swap our 4×4 for camels, following the ancient nomadic route across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. We pause to witness a mesmerizing desert sunset and try sandboarding. At the camp, we are welcomed with refreshing mint tea, followed by a delicious traditional Moroccan dinner. For early risers, witnessing the sunrise over the dunes is a truly magical experience—a breathtaking display of colors and tranquility. After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Marrakech, passing through the vast Draa Valley, known for its endless palm groves and ancient kasbahs. We traverse the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains once again, making stops along the way to enjoy panoramic views and stretch our legs. Arrival in Marrakech is expected around 19:30. Accommodation included (dinner not included).
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Marrakech, exploring its most iconic landmarks. Begin at the Koutoubia Minaret (13th century), the city’s spiritual center and the sister of Seville’s Giralda. Next, visit the Bahia Palace (16th century), an architectural masterpiece that reflects aristocratic life in medieval Muslim society, with its stunning cedar wood ceilings. Finally, immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where storytellers, musicians, and merchants bring the city to life.
