This itinerary offers a unique opportunity to explore Morocco’s rich historical heritage, visiting some of its most important imperial cities and breathtaking natural landscapes that will leave a lasting impression.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we will begin our desert adventure. Our journey will take us across the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 meters), the highest point in the country. Along the way, we will make stops in charming Berber villages, offering breathtaking views and photo opportunities.
Next, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its remarkable fortified village that has served as the backdrop for several iconic films, such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
We will then continue our journey through Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Afterward, we will follow the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Skoura and the stunning Rose Valley. Finally, we will reach the Dades Valley, where we will enjoy dinner and spend the night in a hotel located within the Dades Gorges.

Day 3: DADES VALLEY – TODRA GORGES – MERZOUGA DESERT
After breakfast, we will continue through Berber villages until we reach the Todra Gorges, where you can enjoy this impressive place. Then we will head to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Upon arrival, you will start a camel excursion to the Berber camp in the heart of the desert, where you will enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night in Berber tents under the stars
Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Fez
Wake up early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, we’ll depart and drive north through the Ziz Valley, a stunning area known for its palm groves and dramatic landscapes. We’ll make a stop in Midelt for lunch before continuing our journey.
Next, we’ll cross the beautiful Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco” due to its alpine architecture, and travel through the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can spot Barbary macaques. After a scenic drive, we’ll reach Fez in the evening, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation
Day 5: VISIT TO FEZ
After breakfast, we will start the visit of Fez, the oldest imperial city and spiritual center of the country. We will enjoy a panoramic view of the city from one of the surrounding hills, visit the Royal Palace, and explore the medina with its narrow streets, medersas, and craft workshops. Day 6: Fez – Casablanca – Marrakech
After breakfast, we will depart from Fez and head towards Casablanca. Upon arrival, we will visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, beautifully located by the Atlantic Ocean. After exploring the mosque, we will continue our journey to Marrakech, arriving around 19:00. You will be transferred to your accommodation in Marrakech.
Day 7: Visit to Marrakech – Transfer to the Airport
After breakfast, we will embark on a guided tour of Marrakech, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the beautiful Bahia Palace. After the tour, we will transfer you to Marrakech airport for your departure flight. (We recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight).
